The Vulture Company is a neutral mercenary guild that operates within the confines of a roaming hub. Every month we have a new location where we make landfall and operate a series of interconnected events. During that time members and friends are also welcome to DM 'Side Jobs' within the location we are operating from for that month.Typically we do two Dm'd events a week with social RP and member led events in-between.

Rather than having a singular figurehead, the Vulture Company is a cooperative venture with every Vulture having equal voting powers to decide on issues.New members are still brought in as 'Carrion' and have to go through a trial period to ensure they are a good fit. Afterwards the guild will take a vote to determine if they are given full Vulture status.The structure of the guild is as follows:Pigeon - OOC
Associate - Friend/NPC
Carrion - Trial Member
Vulture - Full Member (Voted in)
Admin - OOC Admin

The rules are relatively simple:
- Do not attack/kill your fellow members-Do not attack/kill clients-Perform the job to the best of your abilities and do not actively sabotage the job-Adhere to the majority rule with regards to votesWe understand that not every job (event) will be for everyone. That's why we try to host a wide variety that will cater to murderhobos and socialites alike. Your character will not be forced to do anything they are morally against but you will be expected not to interfere with others that do want to take part. That being said IC disagreement is fine and can lead to engaging RP but you should be prepared for the IC consequences of that as well.

RP is known for it's strictly guild based roleplay but we want to encourage people to RP with other guilds and individuals where possible.Your character is free to come and go as they please just in case you have friends in other guilds that you enjoy interacting with or you want to take a break from the harsh mercenary lifestyle to party up in Booty Bay. To that extent once your trial period has ended and you've reached the rank of Vulture, you will be given a Hearthstone ICly which is bound to the ship - just so you can come and go as you please.the loose rule in terms of attendance we are currently running with is that you will be expected to attend at least one event per month - again this isn't a hard line and we completely understand that real-life events happen without warning. In that case all we ask for is a wee message just to let us know you still want to be part of the guild.
